Are you shipping cargo to Ghana via Tema or Takoradi or via transit ports in neighbouring countries (like Ivory Coast, Togo, …)?

Requested documents for Ghana ECTN/SPN/waiver issuance are:
- Dated Bill of Lading (draft to start issuance – final BL for validation of the ECTN/SPN/waiver)
- Commercial invoice in Euro or USD (pro-forma invoices are not allowed)
- Validated Export customs declaration
After validation you will receive the ECTN/SPN/waiver number to be transmitted to the shipping line. A copy of the final BL with sailing date and ECTN N° is required for validation of the ECTN/SPN/waiver.
It’s important to issue an ECTN/SPN/waiver as cargoes arriving without valid ECTN/SPN/waiver will be blocked for delivery by the local customs.
A Ghana ECTN/SPN/waiver is also mandatory for shipments in transit to Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.
