- Commercial invoice mentioning country of origin
- Detailed freight invoice

The receiver should furthermore be registered at the Ivory Shippers’ Council (O.I.C.).
It’s important to issue an ECTN/waiver as cargoes arriving without valid ECTN/waiver will be blocked for delivery by the local customs.
Transit cargoes to neighbouring countries are exempted from an Ivory ECTN/waiver.
